Uncle Jimmy’s Dirty Basement

Uncle Jimmy's Dirty Basement

Uncle Jimmy's Dirty Basement

The undisputed Godfathers of the burgeoning Puppet Rock movement, Uncle Jimmy’s Dirty Basement has been accumulating rabidly devoted fans and love slaves over the course of its long-running engagements at The Bowery Poetry Club, Bowery Ballroom, Toyota Comedy Festival and Joe’s Pub. This is what happens when two veteran groups, the Elementals and Coocoohandler, shed the skins of their former selves, meld together into a brand new entity, and come out swinging. Now downtown’s rockinest, raunchiest, most original genre-smashing, collaborative crusaders, will be setting up shop at the only place brave enough to give them whatever they want. Whether you seek a joyride through the underbelly of the American Psyche, enjoy being whacked on the head with an oversized phallus, or long for everything in between, the Basement is the place to be.
