At this transitional moment in our history, Performance Space 122 (PS122) has a unique opportunity to increase our organizational capacity while creating a physical hub for bold, new work of contemporary performance in our recently renovated home in the heart of the East Village.

In preparation for our grand re-opening in the summer of 2016, PS122 has launched the “Give Performance Space” (GPS) campaign – a major capacity campaign to launch PS122’s growth as an organization with the goal of better serving the artists and audiences of New York City. Unlike funds from a bricks and mortar campaign, the GPS campaign gives PS122 the flexibility to take risks, adapt, and grow as a leader within the cultural ecology of New York City.

“What does the GPS campaign entail?”

The GPS campaign has brought together a leadership committee of individuals who have invested in PS122’s future. Co-chaired by Alan Cumming, Stella Schnabel and Charles Kerr, members hail from a panoply of industries such as corporate litigation, film, creative design, theatrical performance, higher education, and fine arts, to name a few – all coming together for the sole purpose of ensuring that New York City maintains a place where new work and ideas are supported and explored.

“How can I get involved?”

You, too, can invest in the cultural future of New York City. Your contribution to the GPS campaign allows us to take full advantage of our beautiful new spaces by responsibly growing organizationally, artistically and financially over the next four years.

The incentives offered in this campaign range from naming opportunities to exclusive invites to special events during opening celebrations to the goodwill feeling that you kept an organization with a 35-plus year history in the East Village firmly grounded.

Consider a contribution today towards PS122’s future.
