Please join us for the dedication of the Derek Lloyd Stage on February 3rd 2018. As Director of Production at PS122 for the better part of two decades, Derek enabled hundreds of artists to take their works to new heights, mentored dozens of young technicians, and encouraged his coworkers to ask more of a small performance space in the East Village.
Derek’s passing in 2014 meant he never saw the fruits of the building’s renovation, but he was instrumental in the planning of this new state-of-the-art theater and it will always be his stage.
We hope you can join us in raising a glass to Derek’s legacy on February 3rd. We’ll be sharing memories, showing off our shiny new spaces, and turning the volume up loud in Derek’s honor.
Sincerely,
The staff of Performance Space New York

A Note About The Derek Lloyd Production Fellowship
To honor Derek’s commitment to furthering the vision of emerging technicians, designers and artists, Mary Rose Lloyd, the Lloyd and Rose families and Performance Space New York have established The Derek Lloyd Production Fellowship. This fund will ensure Derek’s spirit, ethos and the holistic approach he brought to his work continues for generations of theater artists. We couldn’t be more excited that the first Derek Lloyd fellow, Aaliyah, is already hard at work behind the scenes. If you would like to support the fellowship, you can do so here or by contacting: Isabel@performancespacenewyork.org
