Avant-Garde-Arama is Performance Space 122’s longest running series. A multi-disciplinary mini-festival featuring break out performances in dance, music, theatre, performance art, video/film, and more presented in eight minutes or less. While PS122’s East Village home is being renovated, Avant-Garde-Arama and other programming will take place at multiple venues around the city.

IKM Students Visit PS122 Greenpoint
Students from the Arts and Media Management program at IKM Berlin visited PS122’s Greenpoint offices yesterday. Vallejo, Jess, Amy and Jeso spoke to them about our programming and external affairs departments as well as our upcoming renovation. At the end the students asked some great questions- it felt a bit like a sequel to The Curators’ Piece.

Last Thursday PS122 hosted our first annual Backgammon tournament. Several players brought their own boards, and everyone brought their competitive spirit. Congratulations to our winner Felix Salmon, who prevailed after several rounds of heated competition.
