Death Metal Angola at Doc NYC

Coil 2014 Artist Jeremy Xido made a film called Death Metal Angola which will be showing at Doc NYC Festival on November 16th. The film has been getting some amazing press as of late:

“Jeremy Xido’s documentary surprises out of the gate with its understated, observational character exploring the textures of ruin and decay in war-torn Angolan cities like Luanda, Benguela, and Huambo.”- Time Magazine.

“A Cult classic in the making” – Huffington Post

“Absorbing, beautifully shot documentary… I predict a long festival life, if not more, for Xido’s superb film.” – IndieWire
